Milkweed Seed Propagating

Milkweed Seed Propagating

Our Story

Milkweed plants are the only food that monarch butterfly larvae can eat, so they are a critical link in the lifecycle of the beloved monarch. Milkweed is also a native pollinator plant, meaning it provides nectar for many different species of our pollinator friends, including butterflies and bees. Cincinnati community members helped us plant 820 milkweed seed pods into flats to give them a head start on growth this monarch season.
